Dead bodies stack up on Flores Island, and the local sheriff is sure that Sand’s involved. And oh boy, is he ever. Imagine Sand’s surprise when the first soul he ever captured—and delivered for termination—shows up on Flores Island, body hopping to elude discovery with the help of a furry assistant. A whack-a-mole game ensues, and Sand is losing.
Sand teams up with his handler, Jenny, now channeling a snarky teenage detective, and his creator, Jezra—a senior demon in the Galactic Order of Demons and Saints (GODS)—to help capture his elusive nemesis.
But the surprises don’t stop there…
Amidst, the carnage, the GODS expect him to extract the virtuous soul of an honorable pillar of the community, and Sand’s not buying it.
With his faith in the GODS wobbling, will he survive to defy the GODS wishes, again?
